In October 2007 David was asked to set up a School for the Arts which will include Theatre and Film/TV, as part of a new college in a Tel Aviv suburb. As prospective Dean, David has been developing the concept of the school and moving it through the extensive bureaucracy that is part of any new academic venture in Israel. The School is now set to open in October, 2010.

July 29 – August 8th, 2009 - Training sessions together with the Chekhov Master teachers at the 10th anniversary conference and workshop of the Michael Chekhov Association.
December 14th – 19th, 2009 - Week-long workshop for Theatre Professionals at Mumbai, India
January 20th – March 1st, 2010 - Rehearsals for Pirandello's SIX CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR with the Tompa Miklós Company at Targu Mures, Romania.
March 20th- April 2nd, 2010 - Two-week intensive workshop in ImageWork Training and the Chekhov Technique at the Drama Dept., Exeter University, UK
October 2010 - Opening of the School for the Arts, at the Center for Academic Studies College, Or Yehudah, Israel.
June 2011 - Rehearsals to begin on a new production at the Hungarian State Theatre of Cluj – Oscar Wilde's SALOME. The play will be rehearsed in two parts, and is due to open in late September, 2011.
